We have an exciting Autumn Term to look forward to in 5/6, as our topic is World War II. Over the term we will be looking at different events during the war such as the Blitz and the Holocaust as well as looking at what life must have been like for people, specifically children, during war time. We will be learning all about rationing, evacuations and air raids; we will even get to sit in our school’s very own Anderson shelter!
Also, we will be going on a trip to The National Holocaust Centre where we will meet and hear the story of a real-life Holocaust survivor.
Keep checking back for picture updates of the exciting things we get up to!
