Dino Steve visits our class

Incredibly, Dino Steve read our letters and responded quickly. Within a few days he was in our school discussing our bone discovery. Sadly, it turned out that it was more than likely a horse or cattle bone however he kindly did bring in some real-life bones and fossils. Amazingly, he also brought in a dinosaur egg and a replica of a T-Rex’s foot! We couldn’t believe the size of it. However, the best artefact, which Dino Steve brought in, was the replica Velociraptor’s skull! It was extraordinary!

After looking and learning all about the bones and fossils, we got the chance to do some fossil rubbings and all make a plaster cast of some fossils and dino teeth!

It really was an exciting day full of unbelievable prehistoric pieces to touch and learn about!
