Dino Steve's Visit

Dino Steve visits our class

Incredibly, Dino Steve read our letters and responded quickly. Within a few days he was in our school discussing our egg discovery. Sadly, Dino Steve said it wasn’t a dinosaur bone however he kindly did bring in some real-life and replica eggs, bones and fossils in to show us. Amazingly, he also brought in a 70 million year old fossilised dinosaur egg (found in China) and a replica of a T-Rex’s foot! We couldn’t believe the size of it. However, the best artefact, which Dino Steve brought in, was the replica Allosaurus skull! It was unbelievable!

After looking and learning all about the bones and fossils, we got the chance to do some fossil rubbings and all make a plaster cast of some fossils and dino teeth!

It really was an exciting day full of unbelievable prehistoric pieces to touch and learn about!
