Hedgehog visit - 6th October 2015

Hedgehog visit

On Tuesday 6th October 2015, we had a visit from the hedgehog hospital.

We met Andrew, the biggest hedgehog. Andrew is two years old and weighs 1.32kg.He cannot be released into the garden again because he is blind.

The baby hedgehog(Hoglet) is 6 weeks old and his name is Smartypants!

We listened very carefully and asked some very good questions.

  • “Why do hedgehogs have to eat insects?”
  • “How long do hedgehogs live?”
  • “What do they drink?”
