On the evening of Wednesday 27th September, school was magically transformed into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An estimated 300 visitors enjoyed a fantastic evening of Harry Potter-based activities in school.
From wand-making and Quidditch, to the Have-You-Seen-This-Wizard selfie-station and a mesmerising owl-flying demonstration from the Wise Owl Mobile Bird of Prey Display Team everyone was kept entertained for almost two hours long after the school day had ended. The unforgettable event was organised by our librarian, Miss Nicholls who was helped by many of the staff. North Lincolnshire’s Words Count project supported to help increase people’s love of reading.
Almost the entire school was bedecked in Harry Potter-themed decorations, including a potions shelf, flying keys and giant spiders. The truly memorable evening could be best summed up by Joe, aged 10, who said, “This was the best event this school has ever put on.”
