Spring Term 2017 introduction
This term we have been looking at the interesting and vibrant country that is India. Full of culture, we have learnt about what life is like for the diverse people that live there. We have been thinking about why there is so much poverty in one of the world’s richest countries. To find out more about this we have looked at how trade and economy works in the country and what kind of jobs the majority of people of have. We have presented our findings in exciting information posters! Earlier in the term, we also had the amazing, if not scary, experience of trying some Indian food. A lot of us loved the food however not everyone was fans. A popular favourite was the onion bhaji! Later on, we will hopefully be holding a colour run to celebrate the hindu celebration of Holi and hope you will be able to join and watch us!
