We are very proud of our library and are very lucky to have a great selection of books, hopefully something to suit everyone!

Our school librarian is Miss Nicholls who oversees the running of the library.

Here is some information that we hope will be useful:

Opening Times

We want to encourage parents to use the library with their children, so it is open before school from 8:30 am and after school until 3:30pm.

The library is open every break and lunchtime for the children.

Book Loans

All children can borrow up to 2 books.

Each book can be borrowed for a maximum of 21 days. We send out reminders for overdue books once a week. If your child has lost or damaged a book, please contact Miss Nicholls. We would ask for a contribution of £5 towards the cost of replacing the book.

Meet our Junior Librarians

Our trained pupil librarians assist children with selecting books, scanning items for loan and ensure the library is kept tidy and well organised at all times. They all do a fantastic job!

We use Junior Librarian.net in school.

Children are able to access their library account at home, to see the books we have in our library, which books they currently have on loan, including past loans as well as writing book reviews on the books that they have read. Please follow the link below:

Your child will have a barcode sticker in their home school reading record. The barcode will be used  to scan their library books.
