Autumn Term 2021

Welcome to a new school year in 3/4EB,

This term we are going to be Historians; our topic is ‘Raiders and Traders’. We will be looking at England and how it has changed and developed since the 4th century. The children will learn about the conflicts and battles during ‘The Dark Ages’ and how it has helped formed the country we know today.

Alongside our topic work we will be studying other areas of the curriculum, such as: changing states in Science, colour mixing in Art and continuing with our weekly French lessons.

We are also excited by the return of merit assembly, on a Thursday, where parents can once again join us to help celebrate our achievements. If your child is receiving a certificate you will be given a slip, usually a day before the assembly.

Our P.E. is on a Tuesday and Wednesday. However, due to the unpredictable weather, please bring in P.E. kits (indoor and outdoor) every Monday and leave them in school until Friday. Swimming lessons will commence during the summer term.

Thank you.
