COVID Recovery Premium

In June 2020 the government announced £1 billion of funding to support children and young people to catch up on missed learning caused by Coronavirus (COVID-19). This is especially important for the most vulnerable pupils and pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds who we know have been most affected. Schools were instructed to use this funding for specific activities to support pupils’ education recovery in line with the curriculum expectations in the actions for schools during the Coronavirus outbreak guidance.

This academic year (2021/22), we will receive a further £22,910 for COVID Recovery Premium. Information on how this additional funding will be utilised will appear later this autumn term within our 2021/22 Pupil Premium Report.
